Partners for Livable Communities offers "Learning From" programs that give civic leaders in the United States and abroad the opportunity to learn from each other.

Through our extensive knowledge of national best practices and our International Network with contacts in the United Kingdom, France, Brazil, Australia and other European, South American and Asian countries, we can provide information to help community leaders learn from the best that is being done to address local and regional problems of leadership, finance, people, place and jobs in the United States and other parts of the world.

In addition to information sharing, Partners plans and organizes study tours that are an effective means for civic leaders to share innovative ideas on community improvements firsthand. Tours also offer participants the chance to see if an idea that works in one community can be transferred to another. The tours are organized for groups ranging from fifteen to forty people and are planned for five to seven days.
